Emotions are the firmware on which all our experiences run.
Emotions are experience. We experience through emotions. They bundle all the different impressions into one strong jolt. Stories recreate the life of the characters in scenes, so the audience can experience with them.
We want to experience: this is why we listen to, watch, and read stories. A good story gives us the experience of its protagonist. We become the protagonist, we become a spacefarer, military hero, successful computer coder, or a famous dancer for the duration of the story.
Emotions are experience. We experience through emotions.
This should also go for fashion stories if fashion companies are interested in attracting a good audience. Is your fashion story giving that experience, or do you only have a collection of pictures of models standing in a studio and you can see the clothing well.
Wouldn’t you also like your audience see the character of the performers well, and experience the world of your design – and not just see it?
